I’d say Paul McCartney and The Beatles are the Lord of The Rings of the music industry. While most music isn’t directly related to The Beatles, far behind it, the Beatles are the inspiration. Like LoTR is with most fantasy and even science-fiction writing.

Also, fun fact, The Beatles wasnted to produce their own LoTR film in the 60’s with John being Gollum, Paul being Frodo, George being Gandalf and Ringo to be Sam.

So my analogy works on so many levels.

Regardless though, fuck justin bieber. he doesn’t even deserve capital letters.
